Start a community site
If you help run a Nepali community organisation in the UK — as a committee member, a secretary, a chairperson — this page explains how your community gets its own website, and exactly what we need from you to set one up.
You do not need any technical knowledge, and there is nothing to build or install. You ask, we create the site, and someone you nominate looks after it from then on. Asking is free.

Sites are for community organisations rather than individuals — a society, an association, a committee that represents Nepalis in a particular town or city.

What to send us
This is the important part. A community website carries your organisation’s name, so before we create one we need to be confident that the community is real and that you speak for it. Please send:
- Evidence that the community exists — a membership list, a registration document, a constitution, or anything similar that shows it is a real organisation.
- An official letter or email from the committee asking us to create the site. It does not need to be formal or long; it needs to come from the committee rather than from one person acting alone.
- The contact person for setting the site up: their name, their role in the community, an email address and a phone number.

How to send it
Use the contact form on this site. Tell us the community’s name and roughly where it is based, and attach or describe the documents above.
We reply by email. If anything is missing we will simply ask — an incomplete request is normal and is not a problem.

What your web address will look like
Each community gets its own address on this platform, in the form yourtown.nepalicommunity.co.uk — for example leeds.nepalicommunity.co.uk.
Your site is genuinely your own: your name, your logo, your colours, your content. It simply lives at an address on this platform rather than at a domain of its own.

What happens after we approve it
We create the site and make the contact person you named its administrator. They can then sign in, set the community’s details, and start adding content straight away.
